chibi is jap for 'short/small' and there's no plural in jap. you can probably say 'chibi tachi' (tachi being something you add when you strongly mean more than one) but that would make no sense XD we can settle for chibis à la english plural =P
in english it is sometimes translated as 'superdeformed' since the head is bigger than the rest, mirroring roughly the proportion of a baby body. but i like chibi more XD
