i can't stand the "black and white" depiction of abuse in relationships. It makes things a million times harder for girls in a real-life situation to know what to do. It's not simple and it's not easy to stop and people will not always listen or care.

I think I'd find myself frustrated with this book as well.

I always expect the female protagonist to HIT BACK--maybe because that's what my characters would do, lol.

I did enjoy the book, however. And CAPTIVATE is on my list!
