AJOO banned (?) from performing at Music Bank

Ok, I've been waiting since yesterday for Kpop news sites to post about it but nothing's been translated yet. I tried to translate it but it was hard to understand. ^^;

Basically, AJOO's comeback performance at KBS Music Bank was cancelled because KBS banned (?) (not sure if 'banned' is the correct term) the song "Wealthy 2nd Generation." According to Lion Media, KBS only advised them about the cancellation in the morning of February 6, the same day AJOO was scheduled to perform.

In articles, there's a mention of KBS's "Boys Over Flowers" but I didn't understand the relation. We know "Boys Over Flowers" is about "재벌" (rich guys; someone who exercises power by virtue of wealth) but for a drama series to be a reason to ban (?) a song is mind-boggling.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics of "Wealthy 2nd Generation." The lyrics just state lines like "I'll give you everything if you want it" and "If I say so, so it will be."

Of course, expect fans and viewers to react because of this. One said "Before it's Girls' Generation, now it's AJOO." Someone also mentioned "Boys Over Flowers" but I didn't understand it. hehe!

It can be said that AJOO was really looking forward to performing at Music Bank because of what he wrote in his Cyworld on February 5,

"Wealthy 2nd Generation"

Big day..

But I think he was just referring to the release of his single. hahaha!

EDIT:

OK. Now I understand! I think... haha!

KBS deemed "Wealthy 2nd Generation" as inappropriate because it might "promote" materialism. It's only KBS that banned AJOO's promotion of the song. MBC and SBS have approved of it.

Netizens didn't like this decision of KBS because the station happens to be airing "Boys Over Flowers" right now and the series involves "재벌 2세" issues. How ironic?
