Jon Stewart's speech at the Rally to Restore Sanity

Spent the day running around with James and Vinay. We went to see the Austin Osman Spare exhibition that's currently on at the Cuming Museum in Southwark. Afterward, St. James's Park and Chinatown.

The entire rally was hilarious and entertaining, but the final speech just make my heart warm.

I'm kind of worried about the mean things the news is going to say to invalidate his point. :\

Amazingly, I haven't really seen anybody slagging off on it.

Hopefully, that's a good sign.

You did the touristy thing! Cool!

(Books arrived, by the way! They're lovely and very gorgeous and thank you again for sending them to me. ♥)

Only touristy in that we visited the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Otherwise, St. James's Park is quite a regular stop for us ;)

You're very welcome, re: the books <3

Just saw that you linked that video. It was amazing to stand there among the masses and hear him suddenly ... er, take it down a notch and give this speech that is so ... so SANE. So reasonable. So sensible. "If we amplify everything, then we hear nothing." Words to live by.

Hell. I didn't notice I wasn't logged in. Weird. Anyway, that was me with the above comment.
