The reason it's so short is, back in 2006, I participated in NaNoWriMo by writing a piece of flashfic each day of the month. This was, supposedly, one of the better ones ;) I'm glad it's found a home somewhere.

Tried flash-fiction and reached the conclusion that I epically fail at it.
Also I've just sent the pre-order webpage for Lost Books to all poetry-reading friends and family plus a hint to buy me one while they're at it ^_^ student poverty FTW!

I'm not sure how many copies I'll get in March as part of my initial payment, but if for some reason ordering is too difficult, I'd of course give you one. However, I obviously can't discourage pre-sales; for the press's sake, I want it to sell well! Hello from Pennsylvania :)

Of course, pre-sales are useful things. I reckon I can convince my librarian aunt to buy at least 10 copies ^_^
How is it over there? I've been blog-stalking fairly regularly but don't think I saw anything about Pennsylvania.
On a separate note I was going to head to the Yorkshire Terrier for Speakers' Corner yesterday but I ended up feeding 12 people and taking committee minutes (bleurgh!)

People think there’s not much to do when you’re dead, but the truth of the matter is that a lot of strange opportunities spring up. It had seemed like a good idea at the time.

This story is positively lovely! I love the completely new and different take on the Lady of the Lake. It's slightly comical/cynical at times, but mostly haunting and poignant.

I missed that bit of it. I desperately need to brush up on my mythology--it's never been one of my strongest areas. Shakespeare, yes. Classic mythology of any kind, not so much.

But it was really lovely. I'll have to check on the legend and re-read it! :)
