Thanks for this inspirational post for picture book writers. With a little (or a lot) of revising... and persistence....picture books can be sold.

This book sounds so fun!

Thanks for sharing this post on the listserv. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

I especially enjoyed seeing how the beginning changed. Like many PB writers, I need to streamline my beginnings. This gave me food for thought.

I love that part of the interview too, Michelle. So much of what we write when we start a new piece is really to inform ourselves. Hacking away at that beginning and finding the right starting point is so much of the battle. Thanks for reading. Please pass on the link!
