Been awhile since I updated, but I have no excuse except for an acute case of Inawannas. So...

Jealous, very jealous.

Was lonely for Kate most of the evening, but I didn't want to bother her while she's enjoying herself out of town by calling her just for that.

It has always been my experience that women love it when you call to tell them that, or to say that you're thinking about them, etc.

I apologized profusely to her for not spending the extra $70 or whatever it was to get her on a non-stop flight.

Out of curiousity, though, you *did* pay for this yourself, didn't you? I ask only because, to my mind, when you made the reservations you could not possibly have known that there would be any weather problems, no? Especially in the middle of the summer?

I myself have made many travel arrangements that involved connections, and only once have they gone awry, and even then I made the flight that I was supposed to. Just having a connection is not necessarily a bad thing, and frankly I have some use for 60 or 70 bucks, whichever it is, which is worth a lot more than my time is when I am travelling.
