"Dean?" Angie said with a smile running and throwing her arms around his neck. If anything she'd needed a friendly familiar face around there and this was perfect.
"I... can't believe you're here! And yeah, I'm a terrible friend." She added sarcasticly. "So terrible."
"Absolutely terrible!" Dean agreed, winking. "So terrible I don't even know what I'm doing here."
Then he grinned. "But you're also going to be famous. So really, it's not like I would let your being a terrible friend get in the way of my knowing you."
"Of course." She said with a laugh, rolling her eyes.
"I'm glad someone came. I was starting to think everyone forgot I existed!" Linking her arm with Dean's she led him out of the reception area and towards the stadium.
"So tell me, what's going on? What is new for you school folk?"
