He'd been taking his broom out to fly a lot in the past day - he was that frustrated. Each time he half expected to see Angie flying there as well, being disappointed when she wasn't. But now there she lay probably just as frustrated as he was.
Mounting his broom, he flew slowly over to her - quietly as to not disturb her. Miles hovered upside down and lowered himself right next to her, looking up at the sky and wondering how long it would take her to notice he was there.
Shaking her head Angie didn't believe him but dropped the subject. If she had wanted a fight she would have found one elsewhere instead of on the pitch.
Truth was Angie would never see herself as a good player. It always kept her improving, stressing and spazzing, but improving.
"Well it doesn't matter. Only one more match and then we bench it in the finals." She picked at the grass.
"No it isn't," he contended, sitting up now and forcing her head up with his hand. "If you don'tlike what you're thinking now - then just don't think it."
"I know you are. Seems that everyone is - particularly around me. So instead of responding with something I might regret," he raised an eyebrow to indicate her, "I reckon I should leave. Probably would set a better example that way, yeah?"

"If you're not going to even try, then why should I bother to talk, yeah?"
