OK OK, this is just a first step, but I have a dream.. that one day, I can walk up to a vending machine, insert a some currency, select my choice, listen to the whirr and clack clack sounds, and then hear the satisfying thud and dingle sounds as my eight pack of fresh Maki or Onigiri pops into a folded paper tray, with a little pack of wasabi, soy

My Dad runs a vending machine company. First thing he tried when he set it up was to put in some healthy options, for those that didn't want junk food.

... they didn't sell. Like, at all. Same ol' junk food went out the door like anything, but anything he'd tried to do healthy? Nada.

Made worse was the healthy stuff (He'd even tried yogurts and stuff) had shorter shelf lives, so ended up costing more to keep in the machines than normal.

So... yeah... Everyone complains they want healthy food, but not a single soul bloody buys it.
