Sad about Masaki, happy Ichigo's got his resolve back (yay), and... Ishida?? Interesting, interesting. I reckon he's infiltrating the enemy but... I can't say I understand what goes on in that character's mind :P
I wouldn't put it past Uryuu to infiltrate teh enemy, but is he doing so for the threat to his friends? Or does he know what happened to his mother and want revenge?
Also, I think we now have the answer to the question of what Ryuuken wants to protect. He was wanting to protect Uryuu, knowing what was really happening in the Quincy clan....or so *I* think :) But what if the reason Uryuu IS there is because Ryuuken couldn't protect him and he's under some kind of spell? Oh so many possibilities.
I also love how Ichigo doesn't blame Isshin for Masaki's death, even though Isshin obviously blames himself.
