Con Report -- Home Again

I survived!  Cons are great fun but oh man they take a lot out of you.  Even more so when it's hard to breath!  Stupidbreastsneedingtobebound......GRRRRRR.

Anyhow. So I spent too much money and bought myself *5* Bleach Stuffies.  I just couldn't resist the cute!

I'm surprised that there were so few Bleach cosplayers, since it's my understanding that it's a really popular series to cosplay for. I understand the buying of pushies. I know I'd be very badly tempted if I could afford to go to a con in the first place. I went to Fanime for part of one day a couple of years back and bought two tiny art pieces...because they were super cute. And then I wanted to cry about spending $12. (I've been broke for a while now.) I'm a little jealous about the con experience. Someday I'll make it to one for real.

I'm super glad that your kitties are doing better!!! I hope they continue to improve.

Yeah, I was kind of expecting to do a group shot with other Ichigos :P But oh well.

And I made the mistake of taking my visa down to the dealer's room. Faced with a wall of plushies, I caved. I'm so weak ^_^;;

You totally should have the con experience. What's in your area? I'm booked up for this year, but next year....

I don't even know what cons are in the area. I'm driving from California to Minnesota tomorrow. Moving from my home to somewhere with a healthy job market so I might be able to get work. Fanime is the big one about 50 miles from where I live today, and WonderCon used to be in San Francisco (omg, San Francisco I'm going to miss you). I'm pretty sure there's got to be a Con in decent traveling distance from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, but...Yeah, house hunting with my mom because we just cannot live with my grandparents for long, and then finding work so I can actually afford things means it'll be a while before I can actually go to a con. The moment I can though, I will give you a heads up.

And now I'm going to disassemble my desktop set-up...no more 5.1 speakers or two monitors until we find a place. ;-; ;-; At least I'll have my laptop and external drives for when I get there.
