Why I don't take most things on the Interwebs serious (or try not to)
Oh I do take some things seriously (within reason, I'm still dealing what is often faceless screen names). Like my writing. And as the last post showed, I am somewhat serious about the RP comm which is now floundering (and I'm trying to decide if it's worth being serious about). But most things, no. Just no.

I'm also cracking up at the a current discussion with the regulars over how I'm obviously "transphobic as all fuck" due to saying that "men tend to be taller than women, so when I see a woman who's 6'8", my assumption tends to be that she may be trans". (I've taken your good example and asked them to explain why this was transphobic, and am eagerly awaiting the answer while giggling.) Ah, fficrants...never change. ;)

And yeah, seeing as I'm STILL getting people posting nasty stuff to me in there long after I was banned....lets just say that my estimation of their emotional maturity is somewhere about 5 years old. Except that I know 5 year old that would look at them like their were idiots for behaving so.

I'd agree on your assessment. I found it rather hilarious that I left the conversation with something along the lines of, "This is going around in circles, so unless you have something new to add, I have real life to attend to. Bye!" just to get all kinds of "well, in that case you wouldn't mind me calling you <>>". I find it rather hilarious. Like, nope, I honestly don't care. I don't know you, you don't know me. I don't think that either of us particularly respects the other. Why should I care? *shrugs*
I'm not a sensitive soul, I am thinking. ;)
