It's so much cheaper to buy foreign programming and dubbing it over than it is to produce original programming though. I don't fault them for airing Korean dramas during the day and weekends. I just find it problematic when Korean programming takes over the majority of prime time programming (which thankfully hasn't happened yet.)
You mean omona, no? Because aramanians have been bitching and complaining about Korean everything for awhile now. And anyway, the actual reasons behind wanting programming taken off are often racist. The protests against Fuji last summer were incredibly racist in tone, so I don't think you're being very fair in your comments. Yes, other countries do it too, but does that make it okay? And why is it only Korean shows? Is the NCC also looking at regulating the amount of (for example) American content on television? If the NCC wants to regulate foreign content, it should be doing it across the board.
