Book Swapping

Oct 26, 2006 11:05

Does anyone know of a book-swapping community or forum? I have a lot of works of fiction that I dont need to hang on to. Instead of selling them and getting next to nothing for them, I would like to put them into a book swap pool or something.

http://www.bookmooch.com

I've gotten four books so far, including a hardcover version of Stephen Fry's Making History. I sent out three or four, at a total cost of <$10. Good deal.

Long ago I started a library and I'm doing it again in Cambodia. I'd like to start a drive because as a librarian it's pretty boring. I have a logistics guy that can handle the shipping, but it should be at least a half container. Always at the end of the semester, it's like there are lots of unemployed books out there. We have a project where we make them hard-covered and uniquely handled and then we save books. Get it? If you're interested... where do you live?

I dont sell my academic books since I need them for comps. I was hoping to trade or somethign with fiction (extracurricular readings).

Not sure if this would jell!
