djhgdfhg that was absolutely wonderful. O: The characterizations and the whole idea of the story and argh, I don't even know what to say. Other than amazingly fantastic crackfic for the win. :D

Eeeh, thank you thank you thank you! :D The idea is actually all a friend's fault; I was talking about Zexion and mentioning that he is mindrapey liek whoa and fights with a book and she brought up Zexion/Tom and I went "...yes." And "...why has no one written this yet." So I simply had to make up for that horrible lack! *g*

...hmm, according to my dictionary "acclimatize" (with -ise because I r British, sort of but not really) means the same thing as "acclimate". I'm more wondering whether I spelled 'gratuitious' right. Is that second i really supposed to be there?

This is brilliant, and I love you for it. :3 I'm a great fan of mind games, so I enjoyed all of the subtle play between the two of them. Especially how conclusively Zexion won in the end, and that Tom is never going to realize it. The touch with the Horcruxes was great, and the very end... I loved how it showed everything in a new light. And Zexion lives up to his title like whoa. <3

Then the XigZex was like the icing on the proverbial cake.

And I shall stop gushing now. ^_^

Eeeh thank you very much! Yes, the mind games pretty much made this fic. I mean, it's Zexion and Tom Riddle, how could there /not/ be mind games liekwhoa? *g* I actually didn't originally want to add in the XigZex, but there needed to be a Zexion pov at the end and he just elbowed his way in (he does that. I'm currently working on a fic in which only Zexion and Vexen appear out of the Org and having the most massive trouble keeping Xigbar from mysteriously popping up.) I was hard-pressed to keep it from becoming completely explicit slash and have it stay just this side of ambiguous! (Not that I mind Xigbar/Zexion, but I prefer staying with one pairing per fic, esp. if it's unusual.)
