Sooooo I am back from my trip! First was Vero Beach, then Orlando and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I'm in the mood to write about and describe it a little, plus I have a picture of something special I got there! Click the HPLand cut to skip to that stuff.

My family decided that we were going to go this Christmas and I can't freaking wait, I know that it doesn't get that cold in Florida but I can't help but hope I'll see a snowy Hogsmeade/Hogwarts~ :D
Thanks for all the tips! I'm sure they'll be really helpful, haha.
Is it true that you can do something, a tour or something, that lets you skip most of the line for the Forbidden Journey? Somebody told me that somewhere but I'm not sure if it's true. Either way I'm looking out for it, haha.

Oh yes! I forgot to talk about that, I was going to...
The "tour" thing is where you just go up to the Hogwarts student working the entrance of the ride, near the lockers (you'll know what I mean when you get there), and ask if you can do the tour. They'll let you into a separate line where you can walk through the different rooms at Hogwarts and stay in them for as long as you'd like! You can't see everything up close (it takes you through the front of Dumbledore's office, but there's a lot in the back that you have to get on the real line to see, and through the back of the DADA room, which kinda sucks 'cause all the good stuff's at the front), so don't only take the tour, wait on the real line too. After you have walked through all the rooms you will be escorted out to the gift shop without getting on the ( ... )

How much are the Puffskeins and Hippogriffs?
Hulk is awesome at night, I also love Dr Doom's Freefall at night for the same reason...but don't ever go on them when it's raining.
Me, I'm a Florida girl, I don't mind the heat.

I'm going in January! Can't wait. :3 And I LOVE The Mummy ride - mostly because when I usually go, it's like 50-60 degrees so the fire feels really good lol.
How long is the line for the Forbidden Journey, usually? Like 2-3 hours, I'm guessing? Do they have fast-passes for it (or am I thinking of Disney? xD)?

Yay for January! I can't wait to go again in the winter lol, it'll be so niiice. The fire in the Mummy is so hot omg, especially when it's on the ceiling. @__@
Nah, it's always 60 minutes. xD Like, I don't think the line ever gets any shorter than that. However, I've seen it at 75+ minutes... that's when you go single rider. xD But if it's 60 minutes it's worth waiting.
And there are no fast-passes... Universal sells an "express" pass that lets you skip lines like Fastpasses do, but it costs a lot and you're not even allowed to use it on Forbidden Journey (it's the only ride in the park that you can't use it on). (Note: if you stay in a Universal resort they give the express pass to you for free! :D)
