No worries. We've all been there. I'm also the slowest writer on the planet, so I try not to throw stones. *g* In any case, it sounds like you need to recharge your batteries. I think you should take the break you need and then come back to your writing when you're feeling more rested and your brain is refreshed. As far as I'm concerned, new material from you is worth the wait, so take whatever time you need. Oh, and have fun on your trip! :-)
Don't worry about it ... we've all been there and it's a nightmare because you always feel guilty. You shouldn't. As rusty_armour said, take the time that you're travelling as a break, refresh yourself and then come back to everything with fresh eyes. I'm sure it will do you the world of good!
Thanks so much for your support! (Yes, the comment is over a month late, but better late than never! I've finally got back in the groove and realized my biggest problem is I was trying to include things that were not necessary! I can just say in one sentence, 'This is what it is now, and they didn't realize it' instead of trying to describe the exact moment it happened!
