Thank you very much for writing this! :)
I think you did a really great job with making it work.

It's an interesting idea to make Jim Sherlock's best friend from uni and also using that "Please help me fix it" line in this context. Nice move!

I always think how adorable Sherlock must've been as a child. And his father's funeral was so very sad, as were the funerals of Christmas Yet To Come. I mean, they're always, but it was so hard to see how Sherlock's lack of caring affected the people around him. I also like how Mycroft still made excuses for him, even though Sherlock always behaved like an ass.

Very nice ending, a bit fluffy, but very fitting. :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! It was a wonderful thing to open up to!

I'm so glad you noticed the Mycroft/Tiny Tim thing! I was ridiculously amused at it for the longest time after I wrote it! Knowing someone else appreciated it makes me feel much better about the literature geek inside!

Thank you again!

It's painful to watch Harry calling a spade a spade: Sherlock hasn't been *acting* like a friend to John, or even a colleague on roughly equal terms, so she's not calling him one.

Good that Mycroft here seems to be the one member of Sherlock's family who would be content with Sherlock being *Sherlock* rather than a younger copy of Mycroft, as long as he's OK and happy.

The ending is cute. :)
