If I EVER get my hands on the person that totalled my mom's car, hitting her on BOTH sides (now that's fucking talent, right?) going 100+ miles an hour and then taking the fuck off, that will be their last day on this planet.

that would make me want to cut a bitch. I was in a car accident last week and the dude took off.

Thankfully, yes. She complained of a sore shoulder and neck, but that's the extent of it. The car is gone though. The bumper is flush against the rear tires and we're pretty sure the frame is bent, since her exhaust now sticks out from the side of the rear end of her car, instead of just the rear end.

She's fine, surprisingly. She has carried on with life (well, other than the not being able to drive her car...) and isn't feeling any lasting pain. The insurance company says that they're not going to total out the car, but it will cost $15,000 to fix. I told my mom that I would like her to get some sort of guarantee or proof that the damage to her car is fixable and does not compromise the structural integrity.
