You mean gamut dear, gambit is a move in chess or a red and black eyed Cajun. I can't tell you how happy I am that you're so excited about all of your classes. And hopefully, considering the location, group of students, and professors, the cohort system won't backfire. *glances sideways* I'm sort of in an unintentional cohort program, which is not a good thing considering some of the people I have to work with. Although, considering the word choice, I feel like you all should wear fuzzy hats and sack Rome or something. Now THAT would be fun. You could ride buffalos.
Well I didn't think gambit was correct; that's why I asked. :) What's a gamut?
I'm hoping the cohort system will help me like the one woman in my program who annoys me horribly. It might work. It might help me see past the tackiness and know-it-all-ness. Maybe. *shrugs*
Well, I had to look it up to be sure myself. A gamut is a range of things, so you "run the gamut of emotions from thrilling to sobering" or something like that.
Yeah, the Rome joke got lost in translation. I thought that some of the barbarians that sacked Rome came in cohorts rather than say hordes...but cohorts were actually subdivisions of a Roman Legion. At least there was a Roman connection there somewhere...
