Agreed - it is definitely unethical. I hope somebody makes an issue out of this.

I have had a similar experience too. In fact, I have noticed that food products which sport a Buy One Get One Free scheme or a heavy discount are usually only a week away from their expiry date.

all the big players are riding on big retail wave but yet to realize the fact that they dont have enough maturity to run such business as what Walmart has. Until then, we need to be extra cautious and always bring to their notice whatever issues are found.
