Kid at Heart

So here's a random (as hell) example of how immature I am. ^_^;; My mom treated me out to a little lunch at McDonald's today. As I'm standing in line to order, I spy one of those plastic display cases where they feature the kid's Happy Meal toys...and they've got little Pokemon figurines!! I felt like somebody tossed me back in time 10(?) years ago

Wheeeeee, omg, this brings back memories for me, too! I so fondly remember those Burger King toys. I was in Arizona on vacation with my family when Pokémon 2000 was out, and while my mom had all these activities and such planned, all I wanted to do was get to a movie theatre. LOL I didn’t see it until I got home, but I do recall going to a very wacky two-storey Burger King and being thrilled to death that Ash was on the paper placemats. XD I would be just as excited today myself, so don’t worry-if you’re carted off to the loony bin for this one, I’ll be right behind you. :)

I have no idea what a Tepig is. ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I am such a poor excuse for a Pokémon fan! LOL

Ha! It really was a nostalgic experience, even if it proved how insane(ly immature) I can be. Surprisingly, my mom didn't roll her eyes or anything, though she's well aware of my Pokemon obsession (she's always liked the cute characters, too ^^). Still, this episode wasn't a prime example of me acting my age, but oh well, so sue me. ^_~ Let's face it, Pokemon Burger King/McDonald's/etc. toys don't come out as often as they used to, so fans might as well savor whatever chance we get.

Although -- as cute as the Pokemon figurines are -- I really wish they'd come out with a cute, cuddly Ash toy of some sort. *^.^* Then again, restaraunt security would have to cart me off (followed by my friends in the white suits), so maybe it's better this way. ^_^;;

Oh my good God, I want a Tepig. *_* That thing is so freaking adorable!

And don't worry about acting "immature" over this. You aren't. It's important to stay young at heart in some ways in this otherwise cold, cruel, serious world. :) If being an adult and getting a Happy Meal and a cute little Pokémon toy is wrong, then we don't wanna be right, amirite?! :D

I buy Happy Meals! <3 Last time I got a Light Saber and this woman, who was about your age, in another shop was all "Omg I love that!" and then we had a Light Saber war, because it was in Gimmie Gizmo and I've just realised how f*cked up that sounds, but don't worry XD I order them all the time (: Well sometimes. Last time I ate there was like six months ago... Despite being kids stuff they have really lots of calories DX

I wish we had Pokemon toys here though! That would be so lovely <3 I think if I ever go to Florida to see my family I'll just go to McDonalds to get a Pokemon Happy Meal toy <3
