Professional-quality didje for my birthday.

I've just finished celebrating my 25 birthday. (That is "two to the fifth", not "twenty-fifth" if your browser renders mathematical markup as terribly as mine.) Twice, actually. A plastic didje often sounds very clear and clean, but not the least bit "rich." It is something very easy to hear when you play a plastic one right after playing one made of wood, but not something that screams out to you otherwise.

Plastic didjes are reasonable things to make and play if you want to practice or don't want to spend money on an instrument. They tend, however, to give up tonal quality for volume.
