I think I need to write about what I read, because it tends to occupy most of my thoughts while I'm reading it. So first, what I most recently finished, and second, what I'm currently reading:

dude, i reread some of that vampire book... it's not as flowery as we remember. i kind of suck at writing so... yeah. not nearly as flowery as you are hoping to make lolita sound :P

I didn't find Lolita to be terribly flowery. To me it is a vignette of obsession. I actually need to get a new copy of it. The last copy I bought used fell apart last year.

I may try it again when I'm more in the mood for that type of literature. Considering that prior to reading Everything's Eventual I was reading a lot of non-fiction, it doesn't surprise me that I wasn't in the mental space for Lolita.
