[Presumably John and Charles have been dropped off at some convenient random otherworldly location with a TV and a couch by Mr. Anonymous Worldhopper and as soon as they get there, John bounces over to the TV and drops to his knees so he can start plugging in the PS2 or the X-Box or he should probably figure out what they're going to play first so

[Charles has a degree in making sense of people. He sits down on the couch--much comfier than it looked--and takes inventory of the television. It didn't have knobs in front or an antenna. Charles wonders if it's just for the video games. He makes a note to himself to keep his powers down, as it wasn't very fair to play a game when you already knew the other person's rules. He can't fight the amused smile on his face, and he doesn't try to.]

Back up just a moment. I don't know what half of those words mean.

... Oh. Haha, whoops! Ummm, FPS is first-person shooter, so it's like from your view and all you can see is the gun, and RPG is role-playing game, where you play as a certain character and there's all this story stuff... Hang on, I can get some examples out.

[He takes a few games out of his Sylladex - which is to say, to a normal person, it looks like he holds his hands out and a stack of video games appears out of thin air.] See?

You can pull things out of mid-air? Or does it only work with video games?

Oh!!! Dude, I totally forgot about that. Um, no, my world has this thing called a Sylladex, and that is how you use things. You would just... pick one of these things up, right? [He goes to take one of the games and it vanishes.] Yeah, I don't understand how to do that. I can only put stuff in my Sylladex. I can't just "put stuff down", either, I have to eject it.
