The Dog Whisperer

May 24, 2009 09:31

I know I've been sort of AWOL when it comes to posting lately. I've been reading and commenting as much as possible, but I've been really busy (e.g. seeing Star Trek twice \o/\o/\o/) and such. And I'll fill in some of the stuff I've been up to. But this post is not about that. This post is about me and Cat being all a-flail on my sofa because I've ( Read more... )

Dog Whisperer! \o/

Cesar IS hot, although impeccably groomed and manicured people always make me nervous because I....am not. But I LOVE how all these people sit around wailing 'Waaahhh! My dog doesn't listen to me!' and he just LOOKS at them and say 'Do you MAKE him listen to you?' and they get all shamefaced and go '....no.' And then the dog takes one look at Cesar and is all 'Sure! What d'ya want? I'll do that! No problem!' FUNNIEST SHIT EVER.

Exactly! It's like "Dudes - you CLEARLY like the show. You'll have seen it more than, like, twice, right? SO WHY CAN'T YOU FIGURE IT OUT!"

And no matter what the dog's problem is? He's like "Do you walk it?" and they're all "Yeah! Three times a week!" and you FACEPALM. Do they not figure that out either?

"Ok - before I call Cesar I'm going to walk my dog TWICE A DAY and try out some of this "rules" shit and see if that helps...it seems to on the show..."

People are DUMB sometimes, Taz. I sort of love watching him train THEM most. That look on his face of "...Really?"

\o/

(And while I agree that he's all groomed and stuff, I think that a lot of that would be for the show. I like to imagine that when he's "normal" (i.e. not all wardrobed and make-upped) he would be a lot more, you know, rumpled from dogs. And sweaty. And by "like to imagine" I mean "spent five minutes thinking about it WAY too hard and then told Cat about my theory and made wanting noises before even starting to type this comment" :D)

Hey you! And mmmm, competence.

There should be an exam before people are allowed to own pets- the horror stories my da comes home with sometimes (he's a vet) kind of beggar belief.

(I'm DONE on Tuesday. DONE.)

I know! It's crazy - the people who think that what they're doing is somehow GOOD for their dogs. GOD.

Your dad must want to PUNCH people.

I have never seen but am giggling and sending so much love your and Cat's way. Hugs to you both!

(And omg of COURSE Tim and Tony have to get dog therapy because they care about Jethro but do have a bad habit of being kidnapped/having to go to the middle of nowhere for a case and not being able to be as good dog parents as they should. And Tony tries to make up for it with treats he buys behind Tim's back!)

(Er, hi. *hearts*)

YES he is so hot. Aww, my hot, adorable, assertive Mexican man. I love him so much. Plus he is good with animals, which is a quality I love. And you know what's also hot, he really, really loves his family. There's been a few shows with his kids on and he is just. ARH. Von, I so know the feeling.

And I'll never know either. Because then I would probably agree with you and that would take away some damned fine mocking material. PRIORITIES.
