Is it wrong that I was watching the Weevil-Logan bit in Veronica Mars 2x09 (My Mother the Fiend) and actually wanted them to start using the bathroom the same way Veronica and Logan did? Mmmmm....sweat bathroom-boy-sex ( Read more... )

Hee, I am amused that we totally disagree on VM shipping. Well, apart from Logan/Weevil - dude. Awesome. (They should totally have snarky sex in bathooms - yay for snarky/sarcastic OTPage.) I don't like Logan/Veronica, though - I think it's bad for them (especially Veronica; I can see arguments for it being ultimately if not short-term-ly good for Logan). I love both of them, but I don't think them-as-a-couple is a good thing.

See, I see them as being good for each other - because Duncan is too nice for V. Yes, Logan can be an arse and V is clearly good for him, but I think that with him around she has to be the more upstanding one because she knows that Logan would take it too far.

Plus the way he looks at her hits that little part of me that somehow believes that true love wins. :D

See, that's kind of why I think they're bad - I think her always having to kind of be an example for him can be argued as good for him, but I think it means Veronica wouldn't get the chance to show her own issues, get help of her own. She's damaged herself, and the fact he needs more help than she does doesn't mean she doesn't need any. And with him, I don't think she'd get it.

But yeah, the way he looks at her is totally melty and aww. :)

I guess it would depend on if Logan was always like he is and didn't heal somewhat. Yes, at first he may require far more attention leaving V as the constant attention giver, but somehow I see him as more the person to calm down once all is settled and secure. And then he's there for her. Because he can understand that desire in her to hurt others and lash out for her own pains.
