Aww, thanks... well, I'm not DOWN on it, it just didn't come out how I wanted it to come out, I guess. Well, that, and I got a lovely accusation that I make cookie-cutter icons.
Whoever said that was clearly a bastard. So far the only real pattern with your icons I can see is a love for rounded corners, and that's hardly cookie-cutter.
Maybe they meant ginger-bread cutter instead? Always fun, always tasty & you can decorate with icing and different kinds of candy in different ways... ;)
Which is easilly applied to all icons really. Most just follow a formula of a sharpened base + a few textures. I know it's pretty much what I do... you're the first person who I have seen use a Luminosity Layer in a tut! Hardly factory processing techniques ;)
