Announcements: Recruiting Banner-Makers
We need Banner Makers!
~ There are new icons every week that will need awarding. I have neither the imagination, creativity nor time to create banners on a regular basis... which is why we ended up with 50+ weeks worth of banners that needed to be made. Thanks to some creative & generous members these have all been made *weeeee!* but while the doors to airgear_awards stay open we'll need more banners... and therefore I need your help!
If you love Air Gear, if love icons, and if you can make beautiful banners to celebrate the Air Gear themed icons that others have made then please help us out.
So if you want to help with Banner Making duties then please sign up here!
Info:
~ Our banners are created in the slightly smaller & ultra cute 100x250px. Each banner must include:
º1 the winning icon;
º2 the icon-maker's name;
º3 what position they won;
º4 the Week number they won; and
º5 the words "at airgear_awards".
Should you wish to then you can include any additional details, such as the name of the Theme that they won.
~ When posting the banners they must be hidden underneath an LJ-Cut.
~ The names of the members being awarded MUST be visable so they know to pick up their awards. It is up to you how you want to do this:
º You can include their names in the 'cut' link. For example: < lj-cut text="Banners for gooziewoozie, riyuji, sky_dominic & snm_queen"> (these names have been picked completely at random).
º If you chose not to include names in the LJ-Cut then they MUST be clearly displayed before the cut in < lj user=" "> links. Just so people know they have banners to collect...
~ You must include Tags that say week xx, banners.
~ The community default for all posts is for Screened comments. That way we don't forget to put submission & voting comments to screened *blushes* So you need to change the drop-down box Disabled so the comments will be public.
~ Most importantly... Thank you!
Thanks for not only joining in the fun, and participating in a differnet way (other than submitting icons & voting), but thank you for helping to celebrate the icons of other people. I can not stress just how much I appreciate your help!
