So, Tolkien and capitalization has always been something that has confused the ever-loving heck out of me. Until finally, FINALLY, I found a post that explained it, from the Barrow Down forums by a poster who calls himself Legolas:

Though, I suppose I am not the majority of your f-list...STILL I AM SO EXCITED TO READ THAT, BUFFY+LOTR CAN NEVER BE BAD.

That's so interesting with the capitalization...kudos to you for all your research!! I will probably wind up referring back to this when I finally get the free time to write fic...:P
