Oh Suvi what a time you had. Thank you for taking the trouble to write such a great post and put up all those photos. I can't get over how much you and Suzil crammed in. The Tolkien exhibition must have been amazing. I've seen a couple of his letters, like literally two, so to see so much that wrote himself would blow me away. There was far more there than I would have imagined. Well done you for taking so many notes and making sketches.

I admire your willpower! You didn't come back with Elessar's crown or a dragon, did you!

Ground Zone must have been a very moving experience; I bet you're glad you went.

And having seen FOTR in London it was great to see your pics of the scene which looks exactly the same. How great to have your own artwork up there. in lights.

I'm so glad you both enjoyed yourselves so much. It all looks to have been great fun.

Elessar's crown was like, 300 bucks. I wanted it though! And that dragon... oh man, talk about complete awesomeness.

Ground Zero was... well, it was indescribable. And yea, I'm very glad I fit it into the schedule.

It really was a great time.It would take a miracle for TTT to happen if a show doesn't come to LA, so I'll always treasure it.

I've been craving real pizza since I left the east coast in 1979. Nothing in California can compare.

I would have gone to Ground Zero and FAO Schwartz, too!

Art display of your art!!!!! *huge grin and yays*

Thank you for sharing this special experience with us.

I like Pizza Hut, but for thin crust, man, it was the best tasting pizza ever. I still can't believe how good it was...

Thanks for commenting :) This thing needs to come to SoCal, now.

I. so. envy. you. But I couldn’t go this year. :( Someday, though, I’ll make it to one of these, and also find time to go to some cons…but thanks for sharing-I appreciate reading all this! :)
