My friend allinthecookies (N) and I went down to the Borders in Westwood in Los Angeles for GDT's book signing of The Strain. In case you aren't keeping up with "The Hobbit" news, this is the guy that will be directing it :D

I am *soooo* looking forward to this book. Coming across original vampire fiction is pretty hard these days, but I feel delToro really could do something worthwile with the genre!

That particular book doesn't interest me, but I'm glad you got to meet GDT! And nice that there wasn't so many people there that you didn't get a chance to chat with him. Very nice!
