I keep having LJ crash on me, refusing to load any pages (even with repeated refreshings) then a few minutes later, it's fine it loads them.

Then fine for awhile then it seems to crash again.

ARGH!

I have comments and posts I want to respond to. Damn you LJ!

Worse it seems to be only me having the problem.

I keep thinking it's just me too, because I keep having issues in Firefox and if I clean out the cache it works for a while again. It kinda behaves in IE but I hate IE. And now I'm starting to wonder if it's just LJ, which wouldn't surprise me. Hope it starts behaving for you soon.

If you hate IE (and who doesn't) and Firefox is playing up, may I recommend Opera? It's my default browser and it's faster than Firefox, very secure and has a very small footprint.

I've used it for years and love it.

And I haven't been having any LJ problems.

I tried Opera once or twice and just didn't care for the interface, but I'm glad it's out there as an alternative. And in all fairness, I am playing with the beta versions of Firefox, so that might be part of it too. *hugs*

Ah, that's interesting. I feel the same way about Firefox, I have to say. Plus I get irked that I have to download half a dozen or more add-ons to get me close to what Opera gives me.

To my mind the most important thing is not using IE :-)

I've not. Not got it on laptop (yet) but if I trouble on my desktop I'll switch to Opera to see.
