You know you seriously need to get your own checks when you transfer money to your parents' account and then have your dad write the check for you to pay your income taxes

Woohooo! Welcome to the wonderful world of Tax Forms and W2'S! :) I wonder how many countries actually have people file their taxes, cause I know in England they don't have any sort of filing stuff....you pay your taxes out of payroll, end of the story. :)
Even though it's a hassle (actually not that bad for me), I'm sure glad it's not like that here. :) I wish we paid ALL our taxes ourselves, because 1) it makes people more willing to fight for lower taxes, and 2) (my dad made another good point) our tax money can keep earning interest for us until we pay it. Not that I earn much interest now, but it all adds up... ;)
