I've been working on watching all the famous classic movies I've never seen before. Today: Psycho.

I think I'm going to have trouble getting to sleep tonight. Not many movies have affected me that much.

I've never actually seen Psycho...but then, I tend to avoid horror movies (although sometimes horror movies make me laugh, like the Ring, the Ring made me laugh, the people I watched it with refuse to watch serious movies with me anymore *sniff* evidently I have a strange sense of humour.)

I've been trying to watch some Hitchcock movies, and well...I couldn't NOT see Psycho. ;)

Oh, and I love The Ring. ^^ Yeah, I was a bit scared that night after watching it, but it was fun. I really don't understand the people who were seriously petrified by it (like my sister!) and who slept with the lights on for weeks afterward...but like I said, I'm not usually scared by movies.

Ooooo Psycho. It's been ages since I've seen that movie, but great choice. Alfred Hitchcock does some amazing things with the atmosphere of that movie... It's all in the suggestion, rather than what you actually see. :D

Yep, that's what makes it so much better and scarier than these silly horror movies today with all the blood and guts....
