Seth: I'm going 70 in a 65 zone. Summer: 80 is the new 70. Seth: What? Who talks like that?
and then in The Goodbye Girl
Ryan: I'm doing 75 in a 65, all right? Seth: Everyone knows 80 is the new 75. Ryan: What? Who talks like that?
I loved how in the first season they went back to jokes they had done previously. Like the whole Imax thing when the car got vandalized. It kept coming up, and I always loved the oc for that.
oh oh, i just remembered another one. The whole "I'm studying...naked" thing!
UGH. I'm so upset. I'm so mad at grey's anatomy it took everyone away. which is sort of unfair, because it wasn't entirely GA's fault, but I don't care! I need something to blame.
it totally is normal! ok, not to normal, but at least I understand where you are coming from because I feel the same way.
Sandy:I know the last few years have been a roller coaster. There's been tragedy, and comedy. And first loves, broken hearts. Family members we've lost and found. It hasn't all been perfect, but we're all a family here. So cheers.
If this were season three, I probably wouldn't care as much because there was johnny and volchek, and seth doing drugs, and caitlin being annoying, but this season with the upswing of awesome episodes and marissa finally being gone, I'm incredibly sad that it's ending once it got good again.
Season one Summer was awesome!
Anna: How come when she says "friends" it sounds like a threat? Seth: It's her inflection.
Summer: What are you? Like 70? Seth: On the inside yes.
Seth: There should be a channel on television, I think, of us watching television. Anna: We're that good. Summer: yeah, you are. You're so that good. You're whole witty-banter thing is so cute, you guys. You guys are like brother and sister. Yeah, you guys could totally be related.
Summer: This is a nightmare. I'm sweating to death, driving ten miles an hour on, like, a rickshaw, listening to this... music. Seth: Hey, do not insult Death Cab. Summer: It's like one guitar and a whole lot of complaining.

But to help honor The OC's legacy, some quotes.
Summer: Who gets passed by a van full of nuns? Oh, wait, Cohen does!
Seth: They have god on their side, Summer, okay. I'm not going to beat Jesus.
Summer: I'm not dumb, just shallow!
Taylor: But if I can't get you drunk, you'll never tell me that you love me.
I have so many more, but those are just off the top of my head.
Excuse me while I go and cry as well.

The OC has always been really good with continuity, which is something most shows can't really say. *sigh*

Jimmy: "Look, Marissa, no one has fewer nice things to say about your mother than me."
Summer:"I can't like Seth Cohen. He's like... Seth Cohen."
Sandy: *whining* "But I wore a jacket."
Sandy: "Oh, the gruesome twosome!"
Summer:"I was being sarcastic too, which we never were before until Seth Cohen showed up and taught us irony. Jackass."
