I think this is one of the most romantic stories I've read. Even though they had never met- that they loved each other like that. It was beautiful. Its been so long since I've read a story where I wanted to cry and yet at the same time I was so happy because they got to be together. I'm just going to stop rambling, because this was gorgeous that I can't even articulate how much I loved it. A beautiful ghost/love story thanks for writing this so much!!!!<3

Oh my god VICTORIAN ISH GHOST ROMANCE, AND ARIADNE, AND. JUST. GOD. I leaked a little at the end. I'm not gonna lie. But it was pure, and simple, and I love the way they came together and the details you actualized in the rules of the dead - not just the haunting rules, I mean, but the flowers coming down with them, and the lives they lead below the ground, and the fact that even then they can "die" away when they're finished. It feels like warm honey.

You write such lovely fairy tales. I would go to bed to this any night.

LEGITIMATELY SOBBING RIGHT NOW.
This was so, so, achingly beautiful and exactly what I needed to read.

And I love how you used Ariadne.

But god, the things you do with words...

Flawless.
