Was it on the kink meme or another type of community where you can point it out to the mods and have them freeze it/delete/ban that person from the comm? If it is on someone else's journal I suggest you post a comment on the journal, like "by the way this is my story and I'd appreciate if you took it down" and then linked to the original where the dates can clearly be seen.If this is a case of non-internet plagiarism I have other advice. And in real life if you want to publish, do the cheap thing and mail your story to yourself and don't open it so that the dates will be logged in the post offices system. Hopefully that helped. I'm very sorry that this happened to you.

Well... *sheepish because newbie is new*
It was posted on a community, and I have sent a message to the mods as well as the individual. The thing is, i don't know what the deal is about screened comments, but I've been sent a message that so mysteriously and unhelpfully informs me "you are not authorized to view this comment". So I don't know if that's meant to be a reply from the mods of the community, or what...
