So you know Shakespeare right? Has he become the Godwin's Law of literary argument?

Also, watching Chamber of Secrets last night. If someone has glasses can they therefore be protected from the basilisk's stare because there is that layer of glass between their eyes? Surely that's about as substantial as 'ghost' or 'camera lens' or whatever. So ( Read more... )

You'd probably still get Petrified by a Basilisk with your glasses on. And alas, I don't grow them shrieky plants.

Oh yeah. I just don't want to die from one. My alternative argument is that without my glasses on I am not seeing the basilisk clearly so there's nothing to worry about. But then Moaning Myrtle was killed - this is the flaw in my plan. Maybe she'd taken her glasses off because she was crying.

It's getting close to that. They are not as such written yet and I have class at ten.

Aw. But Gibson is kind of a cute Hamlet. I like his eyes.

I read about R&GU, looks like fun!

Shag Brannagh, Marry Tennant, Cliff Gibson. This is mostly unrelated to their actual performances though, even though I have the biggest theatre-crush ever on Brannagh for that.

Marry Brannagh, shag Gibson, cliff Tennant. I loved Brannagh's Hamlet, and Gibson was so ungodly fuckable in his black costume and insane blue eyes. I didn't see Tennant's Hamlet, srry.

If that is a zombie movie it sounds like the best thing since Scotland PA. I have a passion for ridic Shakespearean remakes/AUs. Probably because most of his plays are totally ridiculous anyway that they lend to awesome AUs.
