Young Adult Literature is the best genre for so many reasons

My current favourite reason is this:

Three American YA writers co-wrote a book (Let it Snow by Lauren Myracle, John Green and Maureen Johnson). A feud has begun between Maureen and John, in which they cross out each other's names on the cover of the books they sign and have begin to sign each other's books as detailed hereI can only say: TEAM ( Read more... )

Also: How do you fake cry? I can make my eyes water but I can never get actual tears.

"I can never get actual tears" would be a good fragment from that last sentence to take out of context.

It is kind of amazing. I want to be an American YA author.

I kind of got watery eyed and then I started compulsively laughing to be quite honest. But I have to cry for my monologue for ASB and I think it's basically to do with breathing deeply in and letting it out without holding it. According to my teacher, if you do it enough you'll start crying.
