I feel the same. I've met Pete's parents only twice and he knows my mom and uncle (especially my uncle!) sooo well. I feel kinda bad about that...particularly since I am having his baby. I guess I will have no choice but to know them better soon!

I'm sure you'll get there with his family too. And that you enjoyed last night with them is a good sign. My motherinlaw is an ignorant drunk. It's impossible to have an actual conversation with her. It's really sad cause the rest of J's family is so nice and I love them. Just not his mom.
