Oh that silly meat-headed boy king!

Good heavens, what a week-and-a-half. This past week-end Thursday through Saturday were our performances of Damn Yankees!, and the week prior was a massive blur of undersleeping, undereating, and overexerting on everyone's parts. No wonder we all got sick.

I can't remember the entire line... I think he was ranting about the reporters or something, then said something about "They just say whatever squeegee comes into their heads!" Har.

Hey Becca, hope you're feeling better (at least you have some voice back). Here are the questions; the stuff in parantheses are what he told us when we looked over them.
1. Compare and contrast how Desdemon and Emilia uphold their duties as wives (short paragraph).
2. In what ways can Iago be seen as the "perfect" actor? (list)
3. Describe how jealousy affects the different characters. (do them ALL!)
4. Explain how Othello's and Iago's vanity affect the play.
5. Explain why the play is ironic: cite three examples. (any type of irony)
6. Describe why Othello is able to be manipulated by Iago. (psychological profile)
7. Discuss the use of light/dark and/or animal imagery in the play. (10 cited examples-be sure to explain)
8. How would the staging of the play be changed in a version entitled "Othello 2000"?
