This is a really, really basic version of my halloween costume (I'm probably going to change the colour palette to redxblack). Theres going to be so much stuff on my head/hair I'm probably going to have to sew it all onto the wig, haha ( Read more... )

AHAHAHAH.... maybe.

I've got the gold shorts as backup, I want to keep gold out of it though. I'm going to be using a different skull and black and red beads.

Latex loincloth!
You're going to TG? We will be in London for Halloween but don't know if we're going to TG yet. Depends on what we finally decide with our costumes.

HAHA, I reckon that would be quite easy to make.

It seems so. I'm not really sure whats going on yet as my partner may be djing TG and another place, so we might leave halfway through or something.

Since we'll be in London for almost a week again anyway, it's not likely we'll be able to afford TG so right now it's a pipe dream. Plus it'll be kind of a makeshift costume for me this year, so unless I wear my Harley Quinn catsuit I don't have anything worthy of TG! If you know of any cool places that have good events on Halloween though, that would be really helpful, as we've never done Halloween in London.

Manchester last year was crap - we went to a burlesque night which hardly anyone turned up to, and Rockworld. Weirdly enough that was on a Friday. The previous Halloween was a Wednesday and we had a fairly good night at the Music Box and I won Best Costume for my Harley Quinn, woooo. ^

I'm not so knowledgeable on halloween avec London myself; I never really "celebrated" it when I was younger, and the one time I've done so in London was at Trash Palace which has since moved.

I suppose it depends whether you want a fetish place, a gay club, cabaret/burlesque or something else? I had a quick look on Time Out, but nothing really seems to be up yet.

mmh. the voodoo queens outfits / pictures i found online don't really say 'torture garden'...would have to be something wild & skimpy ;)

and if you can't find an outfit for that you could always go as a 'catrina' - not that the outfits are any easier but you definitely have the make up skills for it and they usually look abolutely stunning. dead, but stunning...not that i don't like your voodoo make up ♥

I couldn't really find much inspiration, I've mainly been looking/listening to Dr. John. I was thinking of a catrina but EVERYONE has done that style :P

But yeah, I'm probably only going to wear the fur and then something on the bottom, because the fur is pretty damn warm.

I don't have any advice for stuff like this, but ummm....

You make me want to go to London.

Well London is amazing. Although there has been a distinct lack of clubs worth going to recently, or maybe we are just too picky.

To be honest, I know nothing of New York's club scene, so it's all new to me. It just seems like such a cool city.

My parents are going to NY this week. Without me. Apparently I'd love it there. Although I've heard that most of the good clubs (or clubs I'd like) are quite underground, and that the general public aren't very fashionable, which seems weird to me - not everyone is fashionable in London but I always seem to see people who look good.
