Hate to say it, but I suggested to you a long time ago that you should start looking for another job. Hope you find something soon.
As for Dragon, check the Dragon Con LJ communities. People are starting to mention having extra space in their rooms and that they're looking for roommates. You might find something there. I'll likely not be going, or if I do it will only be for one or two days. Can't afford the whole weekend right now. Hell, I've got two weeks of paid vacation, but can't afford to go anywhere or do anything, so what's the point?
I know but for a bit there it was looking real good for me to get into the PM job which would be a good one for me. However the owner dragging his feet about the whole situation killed that. In truth the thing that upsets me more than that is what my boss did.
Problem is I'm not real comfortable staying in a room with people I don't know. I'm not certain I'm enthusiastic enough to go this year anyway. I'm checking with Ken & Bec but getting either one of them to call me back is like pulling teeth.
