My bird died yesterday.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am owned by cockatiels. It's part of the equation as much as being a musician or language enthusiast is. For over seven years I have been owned by a flock of three birds. Sunny, a female, was the oldest, born in June of 2000 or so. Next was Arthur, born sometime in the spring of 2001. He was her mate. I'd almost forgotten that you'd met them! :) Well, I"m glad someone "out there" knew her besides me.

Thank you. I was at work today, and in that environment where she never was, it was easy to forget. Even though I'd been the one to put her box in the ground and put the dirt on her grave, it still seemed unreal, as if she were just alive at home.

And I'll miss her.

Grr, can't log in. *hugs* So sorry she didn't make it, and that I wasn't around yesterday when you tried to grab me on chat. She was such a beautiful girl, brings back fresh memories of losing my little girl a year ago almost to the day (Sunday for me). She had a good life and was much loved by her mother, Aussie Aunty and many others and won't be forgotten. xx
