I hate the moments when two people really need each other and won't reach out. Why can't people just admit they need help or need love? This chapter is so well written. It made me cry for Yami and Yugi and their broken hearts.

*sighs* Yami is doing it AGAIN. He seems to know no other course of action other than to take the one he's always taken: running away. It's easy to do and he's good at it. But the problem is, his demons follow him wherever he goes. The tragedy of his story is his pain is bigger than he is and that he won't let the one person that wants to help him with his problems help him with them. The boy needs therapy. If he won't let Yugi help him, maybe he should enlist the help of someone whose job is to help people like himself. He wouldn't be a burden to a phychiatrist. Of course, Yami would have to pony up the courage to go to one first. In my opinion, Yugi has run the gauntlet for Yami more than enough times and thankfully understood it was more than time enough to back off and get out. He can't help Yami, Yami has to help himself. Yugi does no one any good by literally emotionally, mentally and physically starving himself to death over Yami. I hope he's able to move on because he deserves a reprieve from all of this drama

Yep. He's definitely one of those own-worst-enemy people. I feel sorry for him, and yet, in writing it, I felt like there was really no other course he'd take. The way he is now, the only thing he can do is keep running himself into the ground.

While I do believe that love can change people and help conquer demons, I don't think it can do it alone. It's not the be-all-end-all of fixing problems. I'm really glad that there are people like you who are happy that I went this route, as other people probably find it unromantic. (Even if that's the point -- that trauma ISN'T romantic.) Thank you very much for your comments. =)

Wonderful as usual yet again. I hope that yami gets it soon and starts to fly right. Both he and Yugi deserve better than this. If only he could stand up to all the things that are holding him Dow! Now I wNt to know what was up with his friend. You are a very good writer. PleAse keep up with the awesome work.
