And for some reason, I really liked the last part of this chapter. It just...I dunno, builds up some tension and anticipation for the next series of events to unfold and ~*~DRAMATIC~*~ times to come. *thumbs up*

Go notebooks! My prof showed us these notebooks the forensic identification officers use, they're so white and bland with the police logo on them, hahaha. So while idents and actual detectives are different, I'd like to think they'd still stick with notebooks regardless of advanced technology, because it's just time-consuming to transcribe everything from recorded conversations to text when you can have point forms to begin with. /rambly
