That said, I still like it though. >_>; It carried an overall sad feeling really well - and freakin customs back then. DDD: Who cares if Heba is a slave - Atemu wouldn't have minded! Sheesh. Priests and their priestly duties that aren't so priestly when it comes to love. [/rant]

Because angst is fun. =D That, and I'm trying to get the angsty themes posted so that I can post a happy one on Valentine's Day. xD

The Heba thing totally threw me for a loop. In one of my fics, I created an Ancient Egypt Yugi and totally gave him an Egyptian name with just Yugi for his "nickname" and then I heard about Yugi always being Heba and I was like "where did that come from?" Sometimes, I really hate fan creations that spread like that V.V but what can you do? Of course, mine's Ancient Egypt Yugi is still not going to be Heba

Yeah...I don't read much fanfiction so I hadn't even heard of Heba until I bought a doujin involving him. I admit, I bowed to fanon on this one. =/ I think it's better to be creative though and go with your own creations.

I don't think I can take so much angst at once. ;_; Also, when I read 'Heba' I wasn't quite sure who it was, but then I remembered reading a doujinshi about an Egyptian version of Yugi, too... I wonder who came up with that name and why did he/she choose Heba as Yugi's name?

Anyway! Loved the fic, especially that last line. Totally heart-breaking. Again, great job! Keep it up! ♥

Eek...I have an unusual enjoyment of writing Puzzleshippy angst, Iunno. xD I don't know actually, I heard about Heba through a friend and then bought a doujin with him in it and figured it out. Whoever created it is something of a legend in fanon.
