Nice performance! ICEFIELD* is fantastic too...I probably would've let that go. Also, I think you should've played SFORZANDO on top of whatever your opponent played, all Upwords-style. I'm sure the director would've ruled in your favor for a word like that.

I wish I could have joined you guys, but I had a blast in the Rockies. I'd pass on any scrabble tournament for the experience of hiking up to the continental divide at dawn and startling a herd of 50 elk, and that was just the start of a 13.5 hour hike! I'll post photos soon.
I was very very close to not seeing that bingo. I hate myself sometimes.
As far as being overrated, that might be true, but after playing Div 2 at Nationals, I really can say that it might not be as bad as all that. We'll talk about it sometime, but let's just say, that I was surprised at the poor level of play that I saw by most of my opponents.
Glad you had a good trip. Now I get my turn to get away from everything a little. Yay mountains!
